Product Description:

is formed by concentrically stranded Wires of Aluminium on high strength Aluminium-Magnesium Silicon (AlMgSi) Alloy core. ACAR has got a better mechanical and electrical properties as compared to an equivalent conductors of ACSR,AAC or AAAC.

A very good balance between the mechanical and electrical properties therefore makes ACAR the best choice where the ampacity , strength , and light weight are the main consideration of the line design. These conductors are extensively used in overhead transmission and distribution lines

Product Application:

ACAR can be used as a bare overhead transmission conductor or as a primary or secondary distribution conductor.

Product Advantages:

ACAR can be used as a bare overhead transmission conductor or a primary or secondary distribution conductor. Compared with ACSR, ACAR has a better strength-to-weight ratio. At the same weight, ACAR has higher capacity and strength.

Structure:

The outer layers of aluminum conductor are concentrically stranded on a central core of solid aluminum alloy or stranded aluminum alloy to form an ACAR conductor.
